The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs got a stellar performance from pitcher Gregory Collins, who handcuffed the Tacoma offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Experimental Stadium. The save was credited to Jim Nasium, his 6th. With the win, Gwinnett upped its record to 12-9.

The Guinea Pigs picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Gwinnett manager Tabor de Maria.
