The home crowd had a good time watching the Gulf Coast Turbeaus and Ottawa Nationals get after it.

Ottawa turned a good effort from starter Tom Woods into a win over the Gulf Coast Turbeaus at Nationals Park. The final score was 3-0. Santiago Proximo nailed down his 6th save.

The Turbeaus had trouble solving Woods, who surrendered no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Woods. "Successful pitchers do it."

The loss has the Turbeaus at 7-6.
