Dogfish Head Win at Norfolk, 3-0
|
The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Norfolk Pajaritos, 3-0, in USSL Triple A action at Norfolk Field. The standout performance belonged to Milton pitcher and Edmonds, Washington, native Dave Dunn. Kamiel Wabeke was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. With the win, Milton upped its record to 54-43.
It could have been a different outcome for Milton, had it not been for Allan Callejo, the 27-year old center fielder . Callejo contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Milton up, 3-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Callejo told the Milton Citizen.
