5-3 Loss Extends Hialeah Losing Streak
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Hialeah Dodos and Milton Dogfish Head get after it.
José Santos was a major contributor to the 5-3 Milton win over Hialeah. The Dogfish Head shortstop was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. The win was credited to Ignacio González in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Jesús Ríos took the loss. Ki-tong Teoh, credited with the save, is now 27 for 32 in save opportunities.
Santos had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Dogfish Head went on to win.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Santos said.
Hialeah, at 39-54, has lost 7 straight.
