Ellenburg Gets 7-4 Win Against Rainbeaus
Fernan Espinoza was a vital contributor to the 7-4 Ellenburg victory over Kansas. The Fighting Dachsunds center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ellenburg pitcher Dennis van Putten got the win, upping his record to 3-6. Samuel Tuffley got the loss. The victory gives the Fighting Dachsunds a record of 53-34.

Had Pedro Serano not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Serano hit a 2-run double. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Fighting Dachsunds.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Serano. "And not try to do too much."
