Fighting Dachsunds Deal Rainbeaus 8-6 Loss
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds overcame a fine performance by Kansas first baseman Carter Stanley to defeat the Rainbeaus, 8-6, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Stanley was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Ellenburg reliever Jeff Moore picked up the win to move to 1-0. Joe Yoder suffered the loss. Ellenburg is now 51-34, 5½ games up in the Silver AAA.

Ellenburg won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Joe Yoder on the mound for Kansas, designated hitter Pedro Serano hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Fighting Dachsunds fans to their feet.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Serano said.
