The Milton Dogfish Head topped the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-2, in USSL Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern. The standout performance belonged to Milton pitcher and Overland Park, Kansas, native Cy Dickson. Ki-tong Teoh was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 25 save opportunities. With the victory, the Dogfish Head upped their record to 42-36.
An impactful at-bat came in the bottom of the fourth inning. With a runner on 2nd, the batter, José Santos, reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 1-0, Milton, and helped them go on to win.
Santos attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
