Fighting Dachsunds Need Extra Frames to Get Past Pajaritos
|
Fighting Dachsunds fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
Ellenburg picked up a win at Dog Park in Ellenburg, toppling the Norfolk Pajaritos, 3-2. Pitcher Thomas Canó was one of the reasons the Fighting Dachsunds triumphed. Ellenburg improves to 44-32 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Ellenburg third baseman Jesse Garrett, facing Ratko Davidovic, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Fighting Dachsunds the 3-2 win.
"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Garrett told the Ellenburg Gazette.
