In the 12-4 Syracuse win over Milton, the impact of Chandler Schroeder was substantial. Schroeder, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA with a .329 batting average, went 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Syracuse pitcher Forest Stanley got the win. He's now 2-3. Pabiyan Ajiganoff was tagged with the loss. Milton, at 39-36, has lost 4 straight.

The Squirrel Monkeys got a big hit from right fielder Walke Mehoff. In the top of the fifth, Mehoff pounded a bases-clearing double to right-center. His 5th double of the season put the Squirrel Monkeys ahead, 11-1.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Schroeder.
