|
The Milton Dogfish Head got a stellar performance from pitcher António López, who handcuffed the Ellenburg offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The winning pitcher was López, now 7-3. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Ki-tong Teoh was called on to finish, recording his 20th save.
Aurelius Estrada, the 31-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Estrada contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Milton up, 1-0.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Estrada told the Milton Citizen.
The win elevated the Dogfish Head to 39-32.
