Fighting Dachsunds Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rainbeaus
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds had to overcome a fine effort from Kansas pitcher Alfredo Rincón to grab a narrow 3-1 win at Wichita Field. Rincón went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Ray White was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. With the win, the Fighting Dachsunds have a record of 38-28.

Ellenburg used a clutch hit from Bud Mullins to snatch the win. The left fielder belted a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Fighting Dachsunds ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

Mullins called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
