In the 8-3 Ellenburg win over Kansas, the impact of Sze Qi was substantial. Qi, who is tied for 4th in the SAAA in bases on balls with 39, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Thomas Canó got the win, improving to 5-4. He pitched 8.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The win elevated the Fighting Dachsunds to 37-28.

Qi had a key at-bat for Ellenburg early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and gave Ellenburg an early 1-0 lead.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ellenburg skipper Hunter Curtis.
