The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds beat the Pawnee ParksNRec, 7-6, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Ellenburg right fielder Bill Knight had an outstanding performance. He went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. Ellenburg reliever Bruce Kimsey was the winner. His record is now 4-0. Cédric Dupré took the loss. The 5th-place Fighting Dachsunds are 23-22.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Ellenburg trailing 6-4, Fernan Espinoza hit a knuckle curve from Cédric Dupré for a 3-run home run, giving the Fighting Dachsunds the walk-off win.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Espinoza told the Ellenburg Gazette.
