Michael Collier was a vital contributor to the 5-4 Hamilton victory over Syracuse. The Coyotes shortstop went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. Motka Vidyasov got the win, improving to 4-2. He held the Squirrel Monkeys to 4 runs on 4 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 5. The Coyotes raised their record to 19-22.
Juan Romero's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant for the Coyotes. Coming to the plate with a runner on 3rd and Hamilton trailing 4-3, the Coyotes first baseman reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run.
