Fighting Dachsunds Cuff Coyotes, 12-2

The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds stopped the Hamilton Coyotes, 12-2, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The Fighting Dachsunds got a big game from Adam Clements, who went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 7. Ellenburg pitcher Herman Griffin got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Santiago Proximo got the loss. The losses continue to mount for Hamilton, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
With Ellenburg leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Clements hit a fastball from Santiago Proximo for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Fighting Dachsunds ahead, 3-0.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Ellenburg manager Hunter Curtis. "Our pregame was pretty good."
