Nakanishi Delivers Walk-Off Win for Rainbeaus
Kansas third baseman Guan-xiu Long played a vital role in his team's 8-7 triumph over Pawnee. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for Kansas. The winner was Kansas reliever Ron Holland, now 1-1. The loser was Cédric Dupré. The Rainbeaus, at 17-17, have now won 4 straight.

Terumoto Nakanishi was the walk-off hero for Kansas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rainbeaus second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
