Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys got the win.
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys took Hamilton pitcher Motka Vidyasov's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The final score had Syracuse getting past the Coyotes, 4-3. Vidyasov went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 6. With the loss, Hamilton sinks to 9-8.
Syracuse needed the clutch hitting of Jerry Scott to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Squirrel Monkeys on top, 4-3. For the game, Scott had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
