Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys starter Noah Walker was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 2-0. Fernando Mora picked up the save for Syracuse, his 2nd of the year. The win brings the Squirrel Monkeys to 7-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Dave Summers took Thomas Canó deep in the top of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Squirrel Monkeys on top, 2-0. In all, Summers had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Walker told the Syracuse Times: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
