Milton and Ellenburg duked it out and the Dogfish Head came out victorious.

The Milton Dogfish Head defeated the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 8-5, in USSL Triple A action at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Milton pitcher Vicente Molina had a standout performance. Molina picked up the win for Milton, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Ki-tong Teoh.

Milton used a well-timed hit by Cédric Causse to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dogfish Head ahead, 5-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I like the roll we're on," said Milton manager Alexander Allen.

The Dogfish Head, now 5-2, have been playing some good baseball.
