Losing Skid Reaches 13 Games for Blitzkrieg

Syracuse pitcher David O'Farrell did his part in helping his team beat the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. O'Farrell picked up the win for Syracuse, going 7.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 9-8. Syracuse has now won 6 straight, while the Blitzkrieg have lost 13 in a row.
The Starks got a gift in the bottom of the seventh inning, when they were leading 2-0. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Allan Selkirk reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-0, Syracuse.
