Vermont beat Forest City on the strength of starter Maximiano Agostinho's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Will Parker earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 8-5. The victory gives Vermont a record of 45-28.
Vermont took a 4-3 lead on Eugene Walker's 18th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Forest City pitcher Forest Bell in the bottom of the eighth.
