The Hartford Pride downed the Alaskan Humpbacks, 7-5, at Pride Park. Rob Brooks led the way, going 3-for-5 for Hartford. Jacob Sinclair, the winner, improved to 7-4. He held the Humpbacks to 2 runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 4. Andrei-Luiz Frial earned the save for Hartford, his 15th of the year.

Hartford second baseman Joël Pesci contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a fastball into left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 43rd hit of the season and put the Pride ahead, 3-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Brooks said after the game.

Hartford is 44-54 and Alaskan, with the loss, 62-36.
