The Asheville Highlanders coasted to a win over the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 15-2. José Portiz had a good day at the plate for Asheville. He went 4-6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Asheville starter Tobin Basch was credited with the win after throwing 89 pitches over 6.1 innings.
