Multi-HR Game for Wofford in 6-4 Win
The Virginia Beach Whales relied on the hitting of designated hitter Mark Wofford to stop the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 6-4. For the game, Wofford slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Virginia Beach reliever Matt Cornett picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Virgil Gilbert absorbed the loss.
