A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Monongahela Monsters and Pennsauken Flyers.

Monongahela picked up a win at Timber Hawks Ballpark, bumping off the Pennsauken Flyers, 8-6. Pitcher Yasunobu Suisha was a major reason the Monsters emerged victorious. Mike Davidson, credited with the save, is now 16 for 20 in save opportunities.

Aubrey Magee, the Monongahela right fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 8-1, Monsters. For the game, Magee was 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"Yasunobu -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Monsters manager José González. "He was the key to us winning."

The Flyers, now 35-50, have lost 5 straight.
