Hodge Lifts Flyers to 12-8 Triumph
The Pennsauken Flyers and Tortolita Drummers lit up the scoreboard.

In a high-scoring game between Pennsauken and Tortolita, first baseman Steve Hodge was a difference-maker. The 24-year-old helped Pennsauken grab the 12-8 win. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring three times. Suhaila Zainuddin picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-2. Curt Moore was tagged with the loss.

Pennsauken needed the clutch hitting of Ayub Kuthakwakulu to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Flyers on top, 10-8. For the game, Kuthakwakulu had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
