The Jersey City Tritons topped the Monongahela Monsters by a score of 7-6. Leading the way was right fielder Sherman Kline. Kline was 3-5 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Tritons. The win was credited to Nathan May in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Jeremy Harness took the loss. Jersey City has an impressive 51-26 record.

The clutch hit was provided by Jim Henson. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Jeremy Harness in the bottom of the 14th.

"I still think this team can play even better," Henson told the Jersey City Herald.
