Hartford catcher Barend Huijbregts helped his team beat the Tortolita Drummers, 6-3. Huijbregts went 3 for 5 for the Pride. César Cruz, credited with the win, is now 4-3. He allowed no runs on 4 hits. With the win, Hartford goes to 36-40, while the Drummers fall to 29-47.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Huijbregts hit a fastball from Benny Berry for a 3-run home run. The Pride, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Huijbregts said.
