Flyers Prevail, 4-2, Over Plymouth
|
Plymouth got a terrific game from third baseman Jaime Burgos. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Pennsauken, 4-2. Burgos was 2-3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. Myles Winters, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save. Pennsauken is now riding a 3-game win streak.
In the bottom of the third inning, Jin-song Au-Yong went deep for the Flyers. With Pennsauken trailing 1-0, he drilled a solo home run.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Au-Yong.
