Nada Powers Drummers Offense
|
Getting offensive support from Surender Nada, the Tortolita Drummers topped the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 10-4. Nada went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Drummers. Carlos Taváres closed the game out for Tortolita, earning his 3rd save. The Drummers sport a record of 26-43.
Nada made an early impact for Tortolita when he stroked his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the top of the second, put the Drummers on top, 6-0.
"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Nada told the Tortolita Citizen.
