Both teams had their chances, but the Athletic Club KC Reserves eventually prevailed.

The Athletic Club KC Reserves picked up a win at KC Reserve Stadium, knocking off the Tortolita Drummers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Gabel Ambrosius played a key role in the triumph. Ambrosius got the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 4 hits and walked 0 over 6.1 innings. Ambrosius allowed no runs. The save was credited to Jeffrey Strickland, his 2nd.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Tortolita manager Barrett Abbott. "But we decided not to take it."
