Bakersfield right-hander Pedro Arredondo helped his team edge Tortolita by the score of 2-1. Arredondo kept the opposing lineup in check. Keith Lynskey was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. Bakersfield is now 29-11, 4 games up in the Premier AAA.
Chipping in for Bakersfield was third baseman Yue-rong Duan. He stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Duan was 2 for 3 with a double.
