The Red Pandas grabbed a win, 4-3, at The Bamboo Forest, overcoming a fine effort from Port Huron pitcher Phil Stephens. Stephens went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Reliever Ryan Neal picked up the win. His record improves to 4-3. Rich Walker took the loss. Heath Hennington recorded the save, his 8th.

Sioux Falls took a 4-3 lead on Benjamin Bays's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Port Huron pitcher Rich Walker in the bottom of the seventh.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sioux Falls manager Terry Sylvester.

Sioux Falls, at 35-31, sits in 7th place in the Menard's AAA.
