Lang Gets 4-0 Shutout
|
Foster Lang led the Florida Men to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Nolensville Knights at Psychos Ballpark today.
"My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Lang recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."
Lang yielded 3 hits and had 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in the standout performance.
"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Nolensville manager Juan Canó said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."
