Pesci Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pride
The Hartford Pride faced a tough opponent in Monongahela pitcher Todd Hunter, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Pride Park by a final score of 6-5. Hunter went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Hartford reliever César Cruz picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Mike Davidson absorbed the loss. Hartford has now won 3 straight, while the Monsters have lost 3 in a row.

Joël Pesci was the walk-off hero for Hartford. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pride shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

Pesci described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
