In a tight contest at KC Reserve Stadium, the Athletic Club KC Reserves edged the Pennsauken Flyers by the score of 7-6. Athletic Club KC right fielder Greg Flynn, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Athletic Club KC reliever Juan Andrés Saelices picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Robert Karabanov was saddled with the loss. Willie Woodward recorded the save, his 4th.

With Athletic Club KC leading 5-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Flynn came up to bat against Pennsauken pitcher Ruby Rhod. Flynn hit a fastball to right-center for a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Reserves on top, 6-3.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Flynn. "And not try to do too much."

The Reserves saw their win-loss record go to 14-16. At the same time, the Flyers fell to 12-18.
