The Port Huron Blitzkrieg topped the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 3-1, in M3L Triple A action at Port Huron Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Port Huron pitcher Phil Stephens. The save was credited to Doug Lane, his 2nd. Santa Barbara has now lost 5 consecutive games.

Port Huron first baseman Ralph Titus contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a slider into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 36th hit of the season and put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 2-1.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Stephens said after the game.
