Alaskan got a terrific game from right fielder Don Clark. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Tortolita, 6-5. Clark was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tom Scots recorded the save for Tortolita, his 1st of the season. The Drummers, with just their 6th win so far in 2045, have yet to catch fire.

Tortolita relied on the bat of Bill Stickells to get the win. The right fielder produced a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Drummers ahead, 6-5. For the game, Stickells had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Stickells.
