Knights Deal Red Pandas 3-1 Defeat
|
The Nolensville Knights had to overcome a fine effort from Sioux Falls pitcher Nebosja Draskovic to grab a narrow 3-1 win at The Bamboo Forest. Draskovic went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Red Pandas, now 17-15, have lost 5 straight.
Nolensville used a timely hit from Mitchell Pate to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Knights ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Knights manager Juan Canó, "I like our chances."
