Knights Rally to Tally 4-1 Win
|
The Forest City Warriors got a superb performance from pitcher Lance Mascola, but the Nolensville Knights still won the game, 4-1. Mascola threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The 9th-place Knights have won 5 in a row.
Nolensville used the clutch hitting of Martín Muñóz to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Knights the lead, 3-1. For the game, Muñóz had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Nolensville manager Juan Canó. "It's usually not just one thing."
