The Port Huron Blitzkrieg got a superb performance from pitcher Steve O'Fennaghty. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Baton Rouge. The Brass won the game, 5-4. O'Fennaghty threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Brewster Warble earned the save, his 2nd, for the Brass. The loss puts Port Huron at 8-12.

Baton Rouge took a 5-4 lead on Júlio Muñóz's 3rd triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Muñóz hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Port Huron pitcher Doug Lane shaking his head.

"It's not about individual awards," Muñóz told a Baton Rouge Today reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
