Tritons Earn 8-1 Win Versus Monongahela
|
Monongahela had no answer for Jersey City Tritons hurler Mario Quintero, who overwhelmed Monsters hitters as the Tritons coasted to victory, 8-1. The win puts Jersey City at 5-2.
The Tritons picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Jersey City manager Erwin Chapman.
