Black Mambas Walk It Off for 7th Win of Season
The Austin Black Mambas overcame a fine performance by Port Huron second baseman Mike Scott to defeat the Blitzkrieg, 4-3, at Mamba Park. Scott went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs. Austin pitcher Duane Coleman got the win. He's now 1-0. Doug Lane was tagged with the loss. Port Huron is 2-6 after the defeat.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 3-3, catcher Doug Page won it for Austin. With a runner on 1st, Page hit a 0-1 fastball from Doug Lane for a run-scoring double, giving his team the 4-3 win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Page said in his postgame press conference.
