Hammer Guns Down Shockers Tuesday, July 26th , 2044 Fans at Shockers Field witnessed the Maine Sea Dogs blank the Surprise Shockers, 7-0 behind a superb effort by starter Gareth Hammer. The Maine left-hander allowed 8 hits in recording the shutout. "Gareth was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Maine manager Rich Folger said later.
