SR Player of the Week Named Monday, June 27th , 2044 So far in his young career, Gene Haber has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Rookie in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Amarillo Warheads right fielder hit at a torrid .348 clip as he collected 8 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Haber is hitting .238 with 7 home runs and 24 RBIs in 36 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .301 with 10 walks and 10 runs scored. |
