Star of the Week Awarded in SR Monday, August 15th , 2044 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the USSL Rookie Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Gianni Fei for his great week at the plate. The Beaumont right fielder took home the trophy by banging out 8 hits in 20 at-bats for a .400 batting average, driving in 7 runs and scoring 4 times. Looking at his stats this year, Fei has compiled a .287 batting average, while hitting 11 home runs and driving in 51 runs. He has played in 78 games and scored 38 runs. |
