Beavers Santegoeds Gone for Year Wednesday, August 3rd , 2044 The season is finished for Buddy Santegoeds of the Northwest Territory Beavers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Beavers reliever suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Quebec City Baby Blues. Team doctors said it would take at least 6-7 months to heal. Taking a look at his season, Santegoeds has made 18 relief appearances, recorded 3 saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 1.86 ERA. In pitching 29 innings, he has totaled 49 strikeouts and 13 walks. |
