Santos Magnificent in Ladue Win Friday, June 24th , 2044 Jorge Santos subdued the Memphis Music, 4-0, pitching a 2-hit gem for the Ladue Rams at The Stage in Memphis. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Ladue skipper Lance Davis said afterward. Santos registered 7 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Memphis manager Jim Thornton after the defeat.
