Bethlehem Starter Named PR's Top Pitcher Monday, August 1st , 2044 In July, Burian Polyn tore through the USPL Rookie like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 19 years old. The young Bethlehem starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 2.76 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 29.1 innings he collected 34 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .211 average. Thus far this season, Polyn has tossed 95.2 innings in 15 starts, fanned 98 batters, walked 24 and put up a 2.45 ERA with 8 wins and 3 losses. |
