Artie O'Neal Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Friday, July 1st , 2044 Artie O'Neal will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Squirrel Hill reliever could miss the remainder of the year. O'Neal was injured while throwing a pitch in the Pierogis-Mariachis clash at Field of the Rawhides recently. Doctors said he has shoulder inflammation and would be out a minimum of 8 months. This season he has made 19 relief appearances, collecting 1 save. O'Neal has worked 25.1 innings, yielding 21 hits and giving out 14 free passes while striking out 29. He has a 0-1 record with a 3.20 ERA. |
